Since its creation, TechnicAtome has equipped all French Navy ships with nuclear propulsion. TechnicAtome designed and built all the 19 on-board nuclear steam supply systems. 11 new nuclear steam supply systems are planned over the next 20 years.

To meet the high standards of this mission, TechnicAtome maintains and develops a range of technical skills, from designing engineering, to component maintenance along with facility operation, or fuel manufacturing.

State-of-the-art engineering for civil nuclear power

Small Modular Reactor (SMR)

TechnicAtome plays a major role in several civil nuclear reactors projects, both for research and power generation.

Building on 50 years of experience, TechnicAtome brings its advanced engineering skills to nuclear research, especially for the production of the Jules Horowitz Reactor.

TechnicAtome plays a significant role in the SMR (Small Modular Reactor) projects, as part of the Nuward program led by EDF in partnership with CEA, Naval Group and Framatome.

Defence nuclear facility engineering

Technical expertise for Defence nuclear facility engineering.

Laser MégaJoule

TechnicAtome uses its expertise in complex systems engineering for certain infrastructures of the CEA (the Laser MégaJoule) and the French Ministry of the Armed Forces (for the redevelopment of nuclear ports).

For this, the company also makes use of its command of nuclear safety and its experience as a technical and industrial operator.
