In keeping with its nuclear propulsion activities, TechnicAtome is committed to the French Navy, a long-standing partner going back several decades, notably, through cultural sponsorship projects and sports sponsorship. Culture in the broadest sense, education and the integration of TechnicAtome in the Bouches-du-Rhône region are the three other pillars that underpin our supportive activities.

Renovation of the French National Maritime Museum

 

In 2020, TechnicAtome joined the number of “sponsors of the renovation” of this museum located in the Palais de Chaillot in Paris, which is scheduled to reopen in 2023. As part of this vast architectural and museographic renovation, TechnicAtome is providing support for the scenography of the spaces dedicated to technological change.

The French Navy-Fondation de la mer Sailing Boat

 

In 2021 and 2022, TechnicAtome supported the sports challenge taken up by former French Navy commando, Chief Petty Officer Philippe Hartz. Two seasons of the “French Elite Ocean Racing Championship” with the mythical Solitaire du Figaro in their sights.

The Grand Prix de l'Ecole Navale - GPEN

 

TechnicAtome has been supporting the “Grand Prix de l'Ecole Navale French Championship Monotypes Habitables”, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2022, for several years now.

“Le Grand Charles” aircraft carrier educational kit

 

Under the initiative of the City of Paris, sponsor of the aircraft carrier for 20 years, TechnicAtome supported the distribution of “Le grand Charles, découverte du Porte-avions Charles de Gaulle” educational kits, to year six primary school children in 2021.

Festival Musique dans la rue, Aix-en-Provence Music Festival

 

TechnicAtome has been the exclusive sponsor of the "Musique dans la Rue" music festival in Aix-en-Provence for four consecutive years. Through this cultural sponsorship, TechnicAtome’s aim has been to contribute to the accessibility of music for all and, in this way, mark its commitment to the region, where nearly 80% of its 1,800 employees work.
