27 years of a successful collaboration at the Laser Mégajoule

In December, the22^nd and final laser chain was completed at the LMJ (Laser Mégajoule) in Bordeaux. This major milestone marks the completion of the laser chain assembly, which began in 2007, and will enable the facility to ramp up to full power.

Since 1998, TA has been working alongside the CEA to provide project management support for this unique facility, that is designed to simulate nuclear weapons for the benefit of the nuclear deterrence.

TA’s teams have been involved from the engineering phase through the installation, maintenance, commissioning, and operation phases.
