Appointments at TechnicAtome’s executive committee

As of September 1, 2021, the composition of TechnicAtome’s Executive Committee has changed with two appointments:

• Rémi Clamens has been appointed Director of Engineering at TechnicAtome. He will also assume the role of Director of the Aix-en-Provence facility on January 1, 2022.

• Lionel Marx succeeds him as Director of Operations and Industrial Operations and Director of the Cadarache facility, and in this capacity joins TechnicAtome’s Executive Committee.

A graduate of the National Institute of Nuclear Sciences and Technology (INSTN), he joined TechnicAtome in 1998. Rémi Clamens served as project manager for the SSBN “Le Terrible” in 2005, project manager for the RES (test reactor) in 2010, and then head of the nuclear core product line in 2012, before being appointed Director of Operations and Industrial Operations and Director of the Cadarache facility in 2015.

A graduate of Polytech Nancy and the École Centrale de Paris, Lionel Marx, who joined TechnicAtome in 1996, served notably as project manager for the RES in 2006, head of the third-generation SSBN program in 2010, and has been deputy project director for the RJH (Jules Horowitz Reactor) since 2016.
