TechnicAtome sponsors “l’appel des profondeurs” exhibition

On October 12, the new exhibition at the Musée de la Marine in Paris, “The Call of the Deep: An Underwater Adventure from Antiquity to the Present,” opened.

TechnicAtome has renewed its commitment to the National Maritime Museum with a new cultural sponsorship initiative centered on an exhibition that resonates with its activities: “The Call of the Deep.” In 2020, TechnicAtome joined the National Maritime Museum’s list of sponsors to support its renovation and contribute to the creation of a new exhibition itinerary highlighting technological changes in the Navy. Today, the company is a partner of the museum.

As a key player in nuclear propulsion, TechnicAtome is intrinsically linked to the history of modern exploration of the deep sea. The nuclear reactors installed aboard the French Navy’s submarines and aircraft carriers—designed and built by TechnicAtome—rank among the major technological innovations in naval propulsion.

The exhibition will be featured in various regional museums, notably in Brest and Toulon, where TechnicAtome has facilities.
