TechnicAtome participed in the GPEN race

The 24th edition of the École Navale Grand Prix (GPEN) took place from May 29 to 31, sponsored once again by TechnicAtome, a long-standing partner of the French Navy.

Every year during Ascension weekend, about 800 sailors compete at sea in 13 categories spread across four sites, between the Crozon Peninsula and Brest. This race has become a flagship event for the French Sailing Federation, which has been awarding several French Championship titles since 2012. Among the categories, there is the J80, one og the GPEN’s flagship class, in which the sailboat “TechnicAtome” competed. The crew finished 22nd out of 44 in the overall standings of this J80 regatta.

As a sponsor of the GPEN, TechnicAtome was also invited to present an award, which was given to the Diam24 category (Opteamwork crew).
