Disability : concrete measures

TechnicAtome renewed its agreement to promote employment and professional integration for people with disabilities. Signed for a three-year period, it allows the company to continue the efforts already underway for several years and to strengthen thactions to help employees with disabilities to remain in the workforce.

It sets forth an employment rate and a recruitment plan consistent with the objectives of TechnicAtome’s CSR roadmap. This roadmap specifically identifies equality and diversity as priority areas.

The agreement also provides for adjustments to daily work life: workstations, work schedules (including time to complete the application for recognition as a worker with a disability). Specific financial assistance is also provided for the purchase of personal equipment and, more broadly, to facilitate finding housing close to work or access to adapted transportation.

TA continues to allocate a portion of the apprenticeship tax to specialized schools or training centers that make special efforts to accommodate students with disabilities.
TechnicAtome will also continue and even expand its awareness-raising initiatives. Each year, it participates in the European Week of Employment and Disability and organizes a program aligned with the company’s practices. The most recent edition, for example, focused on invisible disabilities.
