CRS highlights at Mobigreen

TechnicAtome is actively involved in the regions where it operates. On September 16, TA participated in the Mobigreen event organized by the Aix-en-Provence Business Cluster (PAAP) on the themes of mobility and CSR.

TechnicAtome showcased its initiatives: waste management, building energy efficiency and rooftop solar panels, biodiversity, making the vehicle fleet more eco-friendly, and raising awareness about global warming…

During a roundtable discussion, two standout initiatives were highlighted. The first is the development of carpooling for employees at the Aix and Cadarache sites. The company provides financial support to the Karos platform by covering a portion of the costs for commuting between home and work.

The second is the provision of land for a beekeeper. Since 2024, bees have been spending the winter at the Aix site: 40 hives have been installed on the hills above the site, which offers the bees an environment rich in flower varieties. The bees leave in the spring and return the following winter.

TechnicAtome adopted a CSR roadmap in 2023 with measurable, achievable, and meaningful objectives. It focuses specifically on three areas: health and safety, reducing TechnicAtome’s carbon intensity, and equality and diversity. For example, the share of energy consumed at sites, as well as that related to employee and visitor travel, decreased from 6% of the company’s carbon footprint in 2023 to 4% in 2024.
TechnicAtome also contributed to the CSR report for the Aix business cluster.
