Engineering, I though it was…

TechnicAtome challenges common misconceptions about what daily life is like in engineering professions through employee testimonials.

Benoit, Ghislaine, Hélène, Jordan, Laurent, Mathieu, Morgane, and Pierre agreed to share their stories and give us a glimpse into their professional lives at TechnicAtome. They hold different positions —some are junior, others senior—but they’re all engineers. They tell us about their day-to-day lives, the challenges they face, teamwork, and “the diversity of assignments you’d never imagine.”

The five episodes challenge our preconceptions, contrasting assumptions with the reality of daily life in jobs that are more “hands-on and in the field” than they appear.

The miniseries is part of a broad recruitment campaign. Job-matching events, held on-site in Aix-en-Provence in May and then virtually in June, provided an opportunity to meet many candidates. TechnicAtome is hiring 200 people on permanent contracts—both engineers and technicians—across all its engineering disciplines.
