Talking about disabilities in the workplace

“I have a disability and I work at TechnicAtome.” Bérenger, David, Delphine, Isabelle, Jean-Luc, and Stéphane agreed to share their stories and give a glimpse into their professional lives at TechnicAtome as people with disabilities.
To mark European Disability Employment Week, November 14–20, 2022, they appear in a series of videos discussing their career paths, daily lives, and the support they receive from the company. They convey a message—both personal and collective—about disability and the journey they’ve taken to speak openly about it.

TechnicAtome is committed to the professional integration of people with disabilities

TechnicAtome is committed to diversity and inclusion and works to ensure that every employee finds their place within the company. Disability liaisons provide employees who wish to do so with specific support and follow-up. TechnicAtome has established a specific agreement covering the recruitment, professional integration, training, and continued employment of people with disabilities. Since the agreement was signed, TechnicAtome has hired 13 employees with disabilities and assisted 16 employees in adapting their workstations or securing funding for their personal equipment.

TechnicAtome is participating in the “Disability-Friendly Companies” forum. For three days, from November 16 to 19, 2022, TechnicAtome will take part in a virtual job fair to meet with people with disabilities who are looking for work. All of our job openings are open to people with disabilities.

Through these testimonials, TechnicAtome raises awareness among all its employees and encourages individual and collective reflection on the integration and support of people with disabilities within the company.
