TechnicAtome participates in scientific conferences

TechnicAtome employees help raise the company’s profile by actively participating in scientific events in France and abroad. In 2023, 67 employees participated in 30 scientific conferences or congresses, including six abroad, notably at RRFM (European Research Reactor Conference) in Belgium, IGORR (International Group on Research Reactors), and NURETH-20 (20th International Topical Meeting on Nuclear Reactor Thermal Hydraulics) in the United States.

This participation helps raise the profile of our activities and enhance recognition of our expertise, but above all, it provides an opportunity to engage with the technical and scientific community and build a network among peers.
For several years, TA has encouraged active participation in events through publications or presentations, and it regularly sponsors the conferences in which it participates. TechnicAtome also encourages membership in learned societies such as the SFEN (French Nuclear Energy Society) and its Young Generation section.

With the same approach, TA is expanding its presence within the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) through the occasional participation of employees and experts in working groups, meetings, events, and the development of publications. In May 2023, nine applications were submitted to participate in expert missions for the Research Reactors Section (RRS). The goal is to strengthen ties with the international organization and to establish contacts with stakeholders in the civil nuclear sector for potential future business relationships.
