TechnicAtome was a partner of ATOMS for the future 2023

For the second year in a row, TA joined forces with Sfen youth division for the annual ATOMS for the Future conference, held on Friday, November 10, in Paris.

The 2023 edition, themed “France: A Spearhead in the Revival of the International Nuclear Industry,” brought together nearly 200 students and young professionals from the nuclear sector. The program included lectures, workshops, and a “student event” to connect with students from engineering schools.

For TA, this was an opportunity to showcase its activities, notably through two workshops on the topic of compact nuclear reactors, which attracted more than 60 young people. Participants were able to discuss small modular reactors and the challenges they present, with a particular focus on the Nuward SMR project. They also showed keen interest in all of TA’s activities; the RJH project and onboard boiler systems for French Navy ships were discussed in particular.
To wrap up the 2023 edition, TA also participated in the online recruitment day offered to partner companies on Monday, November 13.

For several years now, TA has encouraged its employees to actively participate in scientific events that raise the company’s profile and strengthen TA’s position in the French nuclear industry. Since the beginning of the year, TA has participated in 22 scientific conferences and congresses, including six international events.
