TechnicAtome is a sponsor of the “Musique dans la rue” festival

With a strong presence in the PACA region, TechnicAtome is actively involved in local cultural life and has once again supported the “Musique dans la Rue” festival in Aix-en-Provence this year. As a sponsor for the fourth consecutive year, this support is a long-term commitment.

Organized from August 19 to 27 by the Darius Milhaud Conservatory and in partnership with the city of Aix-en-Provence, the festival featured a week of free concerts held throughout the historic center of the city of Aix-en-Provence. It offered the public an eclectic lineup: recitals, opera, jazz, and world music… Between 16 and 20 30-minute musical performances took place each day in the city’s streets and squares of the city.

The festival concluded with a grand closing night at the top of Cours Mirabeau on Saturday, August 27. Representatives from TechnicAtome were delighted to attend, enjoying the two concerts and showing their support. This year holds special significance for both TechnicAtome and the festival, as they are each their 50th anniversaries. TechnicAtome shares the festival’s desire to contribute to making music accessible to everyone.

Through this cultural sponsorship, TechnicAtome also underscores its deep roots in the region’s socio-economic fabric. Present in the region since its establishment at the CEA site in Cadarache in 1974, TechnicAtome is also located in Aix-en-Provence, in the Pichaury ZAC. The Aix-en-Provence site is the main hub for engineering, with several dozen
highly technical fields.

TechnicAtome has more than 1,800 employees, of whom nearly 80% work at the Aix and Cadarache sites, making it
one of the largest employers in the Aix region.
