TechnicAtome participated in the IAEA general conference

16 September 2019

TechnicAtome, a leader in the civil nuclear sector, is participating in the63rdGeneral Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), taking place September 16–20 in Vienna.

This international event provides TechnicAtome with an opportunity to showcase its expertise in the fields of research reactors, support for power reactors, and the development of a small modular reactor (SMR).

In the field of research reactors, TechnicAtome’s expertise across all areas of nuclear engineering enables it to offer a wide range of services, from engineering for new construction to the refurbishment of existing facilities, as well as consulting and support for project owners and contractors.

TechnicAtome offers targeted, high-value-added engineering services for nuclear power reactors, particularly in the field of control and instrumentation, with a range of solutions based on analog and digital platforms developed in collaboration with its subsidiary Arcys.

Drawing on its experience with compact nuclear reactors, TechnicAtome is innovating through the design of a small modular reactor (SMR) in partnership with the CEA, EDF, and Naval Group.

Easier to manufacture, less expensive than a large reactor, and more flexible for the customer to operate thanks to its compact size and modularity, its low power output will facilitate its integration into power grids to meet a variety of needs, such as powering remote sites or supplying electricity to the grid as base or semi-base load, supporting the replacement of fossil fuel-based generation and contributing to the deployment of renewable energy.
Feel free to visit the France booth and attend the side events to learn more about TechnicAtome:
