TechnicAtome participated in “L’industrie c’est féminin”

9 April 2024

On April 16, the 5th edition of “L’industrie c’est féminin” took place. The initiative was launched in 2020 by Espace MAPP, a group of major regional companies including TechnicAtome, as well as Airbus, ArcelorMittal, CMA-CGM, EDF, Haribo, L’Occitane, Naval Group, ONET, Pernod Ricard, Petroineos, and STMicroelectronics.

The goal is to make careers in industry more appealing to women in order to inspire them to pursue these paths. Meetings and a roundtable discussion are organized to foster dialogue and demonstrate that women have a place in industry.
Sarah Francke, an engineer at TechnicAtome working on the Jules Horowitz experimental reactor project, shared her experience during the roundtable discussion titled “Women’s Career Paths in the Industry of Tomorrow.”

TA’s participation in “Industry Is Feminine” is one of several initiatives aimed at encouraging the recruitment of women within the company, ensuring gender diversity in teams and in management positions.
The event took place on Tuesday, April 16, at the Intercontinental (Hôtel Dieu) in Marseille.
