A TechnicAtome – Naval Group agreement to innovate together

In early January, TechnicAtome and Naval Group signed a framework agreement for collaboration on innovation in naval nuclear propulsion. Signed for a term of four years, it aims to improve the competitiveness of components and systems related to nuclear propulsion, launch research and development initiatives in parallel with projects, and prepare for the future of nuclear propulsion.

The agreement will facilitate discussions on interface issues and recurring challenges—such as industrial cybersecurity—and help identify joint solutions for the future. For more than 50 years, TechnicAtome and Naval Group have been working together to equip the French Navy’s submarines and aircraft carriers with onboard nuclear power plants.
This collaboration agreement complements the nuclear engineering interface charter signed on February 14, 2023, with Naval Group.
