Two digital projects certified France Relance for nuclear industry objectives
28 November 2024
TA is involved in two projects certified under the France Relance program to enhance the performance of its construction sites by integrating new digital tools. France Relance 2030 is the national initiative that supports technological and industrial innovations in key sectors.
The first one, SINCRONE—innovative digital solutions for responsive and optimized construction sites in the naval and nuclear sectors—has just reached a new milestone. On October 17, TechnicAtome signed a consortium agreement with Naval Group as the lead partner, the EDF Group, and three other technological and academic partners[1] .
The SINCRONE project is the future digital platform that will provide real-time access to reliable data on the physical progress of a construction project. TA is currently identifying all the requirements and improvements needed for construction project monitoring, which will be incorporated into the platform’s common technical specifications. The agreement calls for testing the platform’s functionalities at the Nantes-Indret site, to inform the design of future nuclear boiler room modules for French Navy ships.
On another project—the RJH (Jules Horowitz Reactor) research reactor project—TA hosted the strategic steering committee of Mecanum, a collaborative R&D project led by EDF and also funded under the “France Relance 2030” program.
The goal is to reduce dependence on foreign software vendors used in the mechanical design of piping networks for nuclear facilities, both for design and assembly (verification of mechanical sizing) and for maintenance (monitoring the condition of materials).
