The Nuward small modular reactor project reaches a new milestone

The Nuward small modular reactor project is entering the detailed preliminary design phase. This involves delving deeper into the design of the future reactor and advancing the maturity of the innovations.

TechnicAtome is participating in the Nuward project by contributing its expertise in compact reactors and innovating with integrated architecture.

During this acceleration phase, EDF has announced the creation of a new subsidiary dedicated to the project’s development, continuing to collaborate with its partners, including TechnicAtome. Through this subsidiary, EDF is continuing to evaluate and select potential sites for the future reactor, as well as to develop partnerships and agreements with international customers considering the deployment of this technology as part of their energy transition.
