TA promotes and supports innovation

Every two years, TA organizes an internal innovation competition. This year’s “Innovation Challenge” once again garnered more than 50 innovative ideas, ranging from technical solutions to those addressing TA’s core business and support functions.

Through this competition, TA encourages initiative, highlights innovations that emerge organically within the company, and rewards the efforts that led to them. Innovation is often the simple idea that improves the daily lives of TA employees. While it may sometimes seem unspectacular, innovation nonetheless requires stepping outside of routine to question established practices.

2023 marks the fifth edition of the competition, which has been running since 2015 and has already engaged more than 500 TA employees. In total, more than 250 innovation proposals have been submitted. Not all proposals are at the same stage of development when they are presented to the jury—ranging from a simple idea to a fully implemented solution—but the vast majority are implemented within the company and sustained over the long term. Moreover, innovation is not the only selection criterion; feasibility and the contribution to CSR are also taken into account.
